Writing with a cat on my lap …

 |  |

It was cold this morning and Miss Mouse came in from the garden and curled up on my lap while I was writing in my notebook. At least, I thought she was curled up. I didn’t realise until later that she was tapping away with one paw at the keyboard, adding her own  bits of text to the book.

‘Then, with a sudden thrust of her wings, she laun9—————————————————————————-6ched herself into the air.’

I’m not sure what she meant by this. Did she dislike the sentence? Think it wasn’t long enough? Think that a number or two and some dashes would add some mystery to it?

Who knows. A cat keeps her reasons to herself.
