Time is running out if you want to enter the dress-up competition! It closes at midnight on December 31st, which is tomorrow night if you are in Australia, and a bit longer than that if you are in the USA.

In the meantime, Miss Mouse and I are delighted by the new entries that have arrived. I’ve made the photos a bit bigger than I have in the past, because it makes the layout easier. I hope they don’t take too long to load. Let me know if they do.

The first of the new entries has been sent in by Sophie, and is a wildly exciting shot of Princess Frisia in the midst of battle. In this particular case, it seems to be a sea battle, and I suspect Frisia is in the grip of the wolf-sark, she looks so wild and dangerous.

The next two shots are from Gabi – the first of them shows us Uschi, who is sad because Princess Frisia has gone to war. (You may remember that Uschi was the sister of Harmut, the Young Margrave of Spit, in City of Lies). This is such a gorgeous and poignant picture – it makes me feel sad just looking at it.

The second photo from Gabi shows one of Mouse’s mice. Isn’t she cute? I laugh every time I look at this one.

The final entry is from Lily, and is a series of photos with an overall title of ‘A Child on the streets of Spoke’. Lily said she spent a REALLY LONG TIME on the make up, and as you can see, the results were well worth it, with a highly original and exciting set of pictures. And I love the name Fist! I suspect she might be a friend of Pounce’s – or at least they’d know each other.

So you can see why I am feeling cheerful, after receiving such brilliant entries. It confirms my belief that my readers are some of the most interesting and creative people on the planet.

My only problem now is – how on earth am I going to choose a winner from such a fine collection of entries???????
