‘What did you steal?’

December 9th, 2012

I just love getting pictures from my readers, especially when those pictures were inspired by the Keepers.

Here’s a picture that Romi sent through, and this is what she had to say about it:

I really love the quote ‘What did you steal?’ … ‘Myself’ fromย  Museum of Thieves and have been doing collaging quite a lot, so decided to try my hand at taking it on – in a way it seems quite stark, I think, but I also like that because it’s such a stand out quote, it takes up the page and imagination without having to have anything much added, in the way of ‘decoration’.

I agree with Romi – I think it looks beautiful as it is.

What is NOT beautiful however is the fact that we haven’t yet received a SINGLE ENTRY for the dress-up competition!!! Not one. I am heart-broken. Flabbergasted. Distraught. ๐Ÿ™

(Crawls off into corner and sobs quietly into her cup of green tea.)

Miss Mouse is distraught too, having gone to all the trouble of finding a dead fish (not as easy as you might think) and hiding it down the back of the sofa for the past few weeks, ready to present to the winner.

‘Never mind, Mousie. At least we’ve still got each other.’ *sob*

You have a cool pic Romi. It looks really . . . drastic and serious, and thats amazing how you did it without huge decor. Congrats!

PICTURES SENT! By e-mail, of course, and they each have a small line of speach from the character I’m playing. (Goldie) Are you coming to Launceston any time soon? If not, any time at all apart from launches?

    1. Lian says:

Hooray! I’ll put them up asap.

  5. Hannah says:

Is it ok if I use some of the Keepers Trilogy pictures for my website?

    1. Lian says:

Hi Hannah, I think it’s okay, as long as you put underneath them that they come from the Keepers trilogy, by Lian Tanner, and were drawn by Sebastian Ciaffaglione. Legally you have to put that stuff because they are covered by copyright laws.

  6. Hannah says:

    Ok, thank you!
