And another character cards giveaway!
September 24th, 2012
I said I’d run another giveaway, so here it is. It’s for the same character cards as last time – do I need to put up a picture?
Okay. This what they look like, just in case you’ve forgotten. There are five cards, so not all the characters in the book are there.
What do you have to do? Just leave a comment below, saying you’d like a set. And if you’re in the first five, you’ll win.
Meanwhile, we’re busy planning the Hobart launch! Did I tell you we’re going to have a mystery guest? Because of that, we are asking people to bring along a stuffed beast of some sort – a stuffed penguin, a stuffed dog, a teddy bear – so that we can build a guard of honour (a path of beasts) right up the middle of the auditorium, for the mystery guest. I suspect we’ll get lots of teddy bears, which is nice. But will we get any penguins???? Only time will tell.
The other nice thing is that I’ve just seen the first review for Path of Beasts. This was in The Examiner, which is the newspaper for northern Tasmania, at the weekend.
‘The conclusion of the Keepers trilogy more than lives up to expectations, and Lian Tanner’s books should be read by children of all ages, all over the world (who I hope gain as much enjoyment through reading the series as I did).’ Kate Howe, The Examiner, September 2012
