Character cards giveaway
September 17th, 2012
Less than two weeks until ‘Path of Beasts’ is published in Australia, and three weeks until it comes out in the USA, and I’ve just received some really cute character cards from my Australian publishers, Allen & Unwin. So I thought I might give some of them away.
Here’s what they look like.
There’s a card each for Goldie, Toadspit, Field Marshal Brace, Old Lady Skint and Double. (You haven’t met those last three people yet, but you’re about to.) And on the back of the cards is a bit of a blurb about them. They make up a sort of little folding booklet, but you can also tear them into individual cards if you want to.
The first five people to leave a message below will win a set of cards.

though I would like one, I am content with what I have recieved (you are the best!)
I’ve been looking at DWJ books and theres so many i dont know ehich on to choose! Can you help me?
Ah, where to start with the wonderful Diana Wynne Jones? ‘Power of Three’ is probably my all time favourite. But ‘Charmed Life’ and ‘The Lives of Christopher Chant’ are also excellent. So is ‘The Magicians of Caprona’ and ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’. Really you could start just about anywhere, Lily.
Goldie and Toadspit both look fantastic in these, Lian- very mature!
I agree, Romi. They have both changed so much since the first book – especially Goldie!
