Drawings of Broo
July 2nd, 2011
Several years ago when I was still writing the first book in the trilogy, I used to go to Lauderdale Primary School several times a week to read chapters to one of the Grade 5 classes. At the end of it a lot of them did drawings of Broo – who is often a favourite character. I’ve been meaning to put these drawings up for ages.
So here they are – Broo big and small!
Hello! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the keepers and I and dying to find out what the second books cover looks like, for some reason, I think it might be red!
Hello Finlay – and I LOVE LOVE LOVE getting messages like yours. π I had a sneak preview of the second book cover when I was in Melbourne a few weeks back. The painting is an exciting one, but I think you might just be wrong about the red bit. Beyond that, my lips are sealed …
Cool drawings! I love Broo, I like the fact that he could turn small and big. π I’m so excited for your second book! I hope Philippines will have it immediately. XD
Hmm, me too. I assume you get the American edition?
Yes, the American version. π
Well fingers crossed that they will be quick off the mark and get those books in the bookshop for you, Roan! π
Broo’s so cute!
I can’t wait until the second book is published.
I had to reread the first book to keep my brain from getting too excited!
Perhaps we should put a warning on the cover: ‘Beware of excited brains!’ π I’m glad you’re looking forward to the second book, Kimbo. And yes, I think Broo is cute too. Have you seen the bookplates with him on them? Let me know if you’d like one.
Wow some of those Broo’s are vicious! I love these.
They’re immensely cool, aren’t they. I wish wish WISH more people would send me drawings.
