City of Lies – the game

The new City of Lies game is up on the Australian website, and it looks fantastic. It’s a logic puzzle, and you have to help Goldie break into the bread shop. Try it out here. And let me know how you go. Bits of it aren’t easy!
At the launch
We had the Hobart launch of City of Lies on Sunday at the Baha’i Centre, and it was very exciting. Lots of people wearing lots of wonderfully creative masks, which gave the whole occasion an air of mystery and deception. And one family came along with the children in chains, which was very cool. Note the blue bird brooch and the very severe and scary Guardian!
A friend videoed the whole thing and is cutting it down to highlights, so I’ll put it up when I get it. I’m also trying to get hold of pics of some of the masks.

I wish you could have been there too, Mia. I’m hoping to get some photos so you can see some of the masks that people wore. They were terrific!
Uhg, it wont load on my computer, so i have to wait and play it at my dads. BUT i can still wait anxiously for the next book!
Mia, I wonder if you are using an old browser. Apparently the game isn’t supported by Internet Explorer 6, so if that’s what you’re using, that would explain why it won’t load.
The masks and especially I looved Lians mask!!

Where is it at?
The Northern launch? A looooong way from you, Hannah. It’s in northern Tasmania, in the city of Launceston, where I was born.
Awwe that is too bad!!!! You should do a launch in the USA.
