‘Frozen’ goes out into the world
June 25th, 2012
It was one of those terrifying moments this morning when I had to decide if the new book, Frozen, was finished or not. I decided that it was. So I attached the document to an email and sent it off to my agent, Margaret Connolly. Now I’m sitting here chewing my nails, wondering if she’ll like it or not.
What if I don’t hear back from her? Maybe she’s away. Maybe she’s travelling in Uzbekistan and can’t get email. Maybe I’ll sit here for the next three weeks, wondering why she hasn’t phoned me.
‘She hates it!’ I’ll say to myself. ‘She hates it SO much that she’s too embarrassed to call me! Oh woe!’
*sigh* I’m far too good at imagining the worst case scenario.
Dear Lian ,
She won’t hate it!
(I am sure of it with a nice fresh Tassie Cherry on top!)
I hope the publishers will take it as a Fresh new start to the children’s book market as they should!
From Lilli 😉 🙂 <3
