Do you like competitions? My Australian publisher, Allen & Unwin, is giving away TEN free copies of The Keepers Book 2: City of Lies. All you have to do is write and tell them the best lie you have ever told. (Heh heh heh.) Here’s the link. The competition closes on October 31st. Good luck!

i am sooooo entering!!! omg the first time i read the part about your best lie i imediatly thought ofthis:
girl sitting next to me: is that a good book?
Me: yeah, its amazing!
Girl: can i borrow it?
Mia: i really would let you, but im just getting over strep throat and i would want you to get it….
Girl: oh, ok..
Me: they have it at barnes and nobles though..
girl: ok, thankss!! ~walks away~
me: ~giggle giggles, and goes back to reading~
book: Museum if Thieves. Lie: I didnt have strep throat, and i dont even think strep is contagious…

ooh 🙁 i really love to join. this is a one lie I will never forget but it was really long 😀 but I’ll post it here instead to inspire others to join:
When I was in a kindergarten my friend was being bullied for his box of pretzels so I challenged the bully for a rock paper scissor game and if he beat me he can have mine for a change 🙂
I’m a bit scared back then so I was force to told him on the coming round I’ll use paper. I can tell he is confuse & I still let him won and when I handed him my pretzel box he is angry that there’s nothing inside I told him I gave it to ” my friend of course and he said I lied to him I told him “No I gave you the box as promise he got angry at me & I told him hey! cheer up at least you won 🙂 until now 3 of us are now the best of mates 🙂

yes err..back then when I told him that I’m going with paper I dont quite understand why he step backed.. I mean its simple? paper vs sicissors haha 😀 but now I realized I looked so cunning back then ( giggle )

OM double G!!! i got the bookplate in the mail today! my mom called me into the kitchen and im like ‘what did I do now?”
i get in the kitchen and my mom goes “you got mail” like one of those annoying computer
messages. im like ‘inever get mail, who sent me somthing?” and then i saw what it was and i ran and got my book and taped it in! then i put it back on the shelf of fame in my bookcase! THANK YOU LIAN!
