City of Lies trailer
September 22nd, 2011
My Australian publishers, Allen & Unwin, have just done a trailer for the new book.
You can see it here on YouTube. The game it mentions at the end will be up soon. Nice, hey?
i love how it tells people to be a lying theif that trusts no one 🙂 i love it Lian! CANT WAIT for the book. i just pre-ordered it today, im so excited i need to scream, check the calander, reread book 1, check calander again, scream, and then pray to god that next week goes by fast!
I’m sitting here laughing at your message, Mia. (Scream, check calendar etc 🙂 ) It’s a pretty nice trailer, isn’t it. I love the bit at the end, where there’s a moment of darkness and then it says ‘TRUST NO ONE.’ Very exciting! And very sensible of you to pre-order the book – then you’ll get it absolutely as soon as possible.
I loved the trailer and I am told my dad I want to pre-order the book so I do not have to wait for the book to come to the library. Cannot wait!!!!! It might be a long week.:(
hi again lian. i fially got the city of lies book today and i had to start reading it! it is awesome so far, im up to the fifth chapter already. it’s so hard to put it down!:)
Hi Christine, that’s terrific that you managed to get hold of a copy of book 2. And I’m really glad that you’re enjoying it. Keep reading, some fairly weird things are going to happen before you get to the end. 🙂
Hey Immy, thanks for letting me know. I’m so glad you loved them! It’s a series I’m very proud of, and I particularly loved the ending I came up with. xx
Lian Tanner has been dynamited while scuba diving and arrested while busking. She once spent a week in the jungles of Papua New Guinea, hunting for a Japanese soldier left over from the Second World War. Nowadays she lives by the beach in southern Tasmania.
